Ashley Klinner, Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner, coordinates and cares for patients in the inpatient hospital setting. Klinner provides general medical care for her patients.
Klinner grew up in a small town and appreciates being able to practice in the rural community of Ladysmith. She is passionate about patient interaction and creating a care plan that is as unique as each patient she works with.
“I chose nursing because I wanted to make a difference in people's lives," shared Klinner. “It's a career where you get to advocate for what's best for your patient."
Klinner began her journey in health care working as an RN for 10 years. Every day as a nurse, she learned something new from both her colleagues and patients. This inspired her to explore advancing her career in nursing and getting her doctorate as a nurse practitioner. Despite this change in career, Klinner's priority of building relationships with her patients stays the same.
“I want my patients to know that I'm here for them, whether that means treating a medical issue or listening to their frustrations about something happening in their life," shared Klinner.
In her spare time, Klinner enjoys travelling, hiking and spending time with friends and family. Her and her husband have three dogs Korby, Dexter and Dottie.
