Amanda Butterfield is a nurse practitioner who treats patients who have suspected sleep apnea, trouble with sleep, chronic fatigue and other sleep disorders and conditions. Butterfield also helps with treatment for other neurologic conditions such as providing Botox for chronic migraines.

Butterfield is committed to providing compassionate, quality care to patients. “The most important element of providing patient care is meeting the needs of the patient while caring for them as a whole," Butterfield said. “By doing this, patients receive the best plan of care with the best outcomes possible."

Butterfield always was drawn to health care, and through education and early work found a fit. “In nursing, I found my love of medicine, which inspired me to continue to grow my career and ability to care for patients by advancing my degree and ultimately becoming a nurse practitioner." Butterfield said.

Providing care at Marshfield Clinic Health System feels like a family atmosphere, which has given Butterfield a sense of belonging. “I hope that patients say I am personable, willing to go the extra mile and here to care for them as a person not just another patient."

Butterfield earned a Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner-Adult Gerontology-Primary Care from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at UW-Green Bay.

While not at work, Butterfield is traveling and enjoys finding new places to explore. Butterfield is a wife, mom, stepmom and fur mom. “My husband and I enjoy life with our children and two four-legged fur babies (our dogs)."
