Amy Sielaff, NP

After witnessing the care her sister received at Marshfield hospital, Amy Sielaff knew that she wanted to go into medicine.

“I was amazed by the pediatric unit; the care they gave my sister," she said. “I would sit there thinking, 'this is what I want to do.' I never changed my mind since."

Sielaff worked in a local Family Birth Center for 15 years of her nursing career and knew she wanted to advance her career as a nurse practitioner.

“I loved the work and caring for the women and their families," she said. “I have always wanted to be a nurse practitioner, and though I have enjoyed caring for all populations and ages through my career, I have always had a special place for Women's Health."

As a nurse practitioner in OB-GYN, Sielaff cares for women through their life from family planning to menopause, preventative health screenings and all health needs in between. Her philosophy of care focuses on developing a trusting provider-patient relationship, where you can discuss important pieces of conditions and health maintenance to ensure quality of life.

Sielaff is passionate about patient education and preventative care. She is an advocate for patients to be a leader in their own health journey. She will educate to help you understand the reasons for healthy choices and care plan.

Outside of work, Sielaff has a daughter and a son. She enjoys taking walks, golfing, knitting and crocheting.
