Dr. Carolyn McCarty provides minimallyinvasive
treatments for patients
experiencing a wide range of issues,
from blood clots to cancer.
“It’s exciting to work in my field
particularly because of the minimallyinvasive
approach we use,” Dr. McCarty
said. “That means faster recovery times,
more targeted treatments and an overall
better patient experience. We really are
providing what people think of when
they think of modern medicine.”
The treatments Dr. McCarty provides can
sometimes be an alternative to surgery.
Some patients may not be physically
able to go through a surgery, but
they can be safely treated through Dr.
McCarty’s minimally-invasive approach.
She works hard to ensure her patients
have the best care experience possible. “I want my patients to feel comfortable and for their care to be smooth and efficient,” she said. “And of course I want them to have the best possible outcome for their health.”
Dr. McCarty earned her medical degree at Western University of Health Sciences - College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pomona, California. She completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. She also completed a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Mayo Clinic.
