Dana Prusinski, NP

Dana Prusinski is a nurse practitioner specializing in orthopedics. She sees patients with pain in all areas of the body including back, hip, knee and shoulder.

Prusinski's love for orthopedics revolves around working with a wide range of patients and the varying paths to get them healthy again.

“Whether it's an 80-year-old patient with a hip fracture or a 23-year-old athlete with a sports injury, the goal for me is the same: Help this patient get back to what they love," Pruskinski said. “I enjoy the science behind medicine and the puzzle of working through a symptom along with the patient and family."

When working with patients, Prusinski puts an emphasis on listening to their concerns and developing goals for their care. Once she establishes that important information, Prusinski creates an individualized treatment plan.

“Listening to the patient describe their injury or symptoms can provide just as much information as any test I may order," Prusinski said.

Prusinski earned her master's in nursing at Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon and her bachelor's at University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

In her spare time, Prusinski enjoys spending time with her husband and six children, exploring the outdoors and hiking trails.
