Dylan Kieffer, D.N.P., has always wanted to be in a profession where he can help people. He is a Marshfield native who takes great pride in positively influencing his local community. He started as a certified nursing assistant on a cardiac acute care unit and continued there as a nurse.

Kieffer predominantly works with heart failure patients at the Heart Failure Improvement Clinic (HFIC) and works closely to help manage multimorbidities that affect the heart.

“Providing individual patient-centered care in a way they feel valued is important," Kieffer said. “I will always try to remember where a patient lives, their family and their faces. I recognize them. It's rewarding to be in our community and see that person walking around and enjoying life because of the care you provided."

Individualizing care is also something Kieffer prioritizes.

“Each patient is different," he said. “Each patient needs a different care plan and needs a provider to help them with their specific health needs."

Kieffer graduated from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a Doctor of Nursing Practice. He is a board certified as an adult gerontology primary care nurse practitioner.

In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors, traveling, being active with his wife and their dogs and playing tennis.

You trust recommendations from real people. That's why we provide comments and star ratings from patients who answer our surveys after their visits to Sanford Health. Star ratings are based on a 0-100 point scale converted to 1-5 stars. Providers must have a minimum of 30 patient ratings to receive a formal rating.
