Jenna Menadue is a certified physician assistant, specializing in neurosurgery. She sees patients before and after operations and helps with any complications such as wounds or infections.
Menadue chose a career in rural health care with a mission to give back to the area that has given her so much.
“I studied in rural areas around central Wisconsin so that I could have experience providing patient care in the communities where I grew up," Menadue said.
Every day in neurosciences is different, which drew Menadue to the specialty. She also finds it fulfilling to provide holistic care and learn more about her patients as individuals.
“I enjoy talking to patients about the concerns they have, what they're passionate about and how they hope to benefit with treatment," Menadue said. “I look forward to work every day because I know it won't be the same as the previous day."
Menadue earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree and bachelor's degree at University of Wisconsin in Madison.
In her spare time, she enjoys painting, drawing, making pottery and reading.
