Jolene Schiller is a cardiology nurse practitioner treating chronic and complicated heart conditions.

Jolene said she became interested in helping heart patients when she worked in the critical care unit. “Heart disease is a chronic and complex condition, but people benefit from proper diagnosis, treatment and education,” she said.

She said that good communication is a valuable asset. “It’s important to listen carefully to patients,” Schiller said. “Then, throughout the treatment process, we make it a point to spend time with the patients to keep them informed and reassured.”

Schiller has worked for Marshfield Clinic Health System since 2008. As an area native, she said she had long been aware of how well respected the Clinic was throughout Wisconsin and appreciates the opportunity she has to help provide advanced-quality health care.

Schiller earned her master’s degree as a nurse practitioner at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

She and her husband, Jesse, have two children. She enjoys walks with her family, gardening and day trips around the state.
