Leah Bloechl-Gruna says she knew at the age of 3 that she wanted to be a nurse.

“I used to bandage up my family members and was always interested in the science behind illness and healing," Bloechl-Gruna said.

She spent about a decade as a cardiology nurse before making the decision to go back to school.

“I knew I needed a better way to advocate for my patients in a way that was both challenging and rewarding, so I made the decision to continue my education."

Bloechl-Gruna now helps patients with hormone-related disorders such as diabetes and thyroid dysfunction, as well as osteoporosis treatment. While she treats diseases, she also gives personalized care.

“Every patient and situation is different," Bloechl-Gruna said. "My goal is to create a treatment plan tailored to each patient's individual need to ensure the best possible outcome."

She grew up in central Wisconsin, and is proud to raise two children here with her husband. In their free time, the family enjoys walks with their dogs, traveling and camping.
