A specialist in internal medicine caring for hospitalized patients
As a resident of Mosinee since 2000, Dr. Mark Schwartz is dedicated to delivering quality healthcare right where he lives. He and his wife, Nicole, a teacher at Mosinee High School, enjoy raising their six children in a small town setting. "This community has accepted me as a big city boy from Detroit where you’re just a number," Dr. Schwartz said. "In Mosinee, you’re treated like a person."
Dr. Schwartz brings a down-to-earth approach to his practice of internal medicine, where he provides comprehensive acute and chronic care to adults. Dr. Schwartz also provides acute care to children over 12 years of age. He’s been with Marshfield Clinic since 1996, and was recently a hospitalist at Saint Joseph’s Hospital.
Dr. Schwartz discovered his passion for medicine as an Army Medical Specialist and EMT at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He completed medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI in 1996 and had residency training at Marshfield Clinic.
Outside of work his hobbies are hockey, golf, theater, music, and deer hunting at his cabin.
