Nurse Practitioner Melissa Tomesh assists in podiatric surgery and other aspects of patient care.


She is one of
the newest additions to Marshfield Clinic
Rice Lake Center. She started seeing
patients in the Orthopedics Department
in August 2013.

Tomesh is thrilled to be part of an
experienced and highly regarded
orthopedics team in northwest Wisconsin.
“I really enjoy working with patients in a
surgical environment,” she says.

Tomesh earned her undergraduate degree
in nursing from Winona State University
and her master’s degree in nursing from
UW Eau Claire in 2007. She taught nursing
at Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire and also Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in Rice Lake.

Her work experience also includes a seven year stint as a RN at Lakeview Medical Center, and also at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN. In addition, she worked as a supply nurse at Dubai American Academy, in Dubai, UAE.

Tomesh completed her clinical training as a nurse practitioner at the Rice Lake Center. “It was a positive experience and I worked with a lot of great people over the years in this organization, and it’s an honor to now call them my colleagues,” she says.

Married to husband Kyle, Tomesh has a daughter Lainie and a son Nolan. She enjoys spending time with her family and lists running, traveling, and baking among her favorite pastimes.
