American College of Radiology
American College of Radiology accreditation performs a rigorous review process to be sure its centers meet nationally-accepted standards. Accredited modalities include breast MRI, breast ultrasound, CT, mammography, MRI, nuclear medicine and PET, stereotactic breast biopsy and ultrasound.
College of American Pathologists
The CAP's Laboratory Accreditation Program is built on a unique, reciprocal, peer-based inspection method that encourages learning about emerging best practices across every aspect of laboratory services and finding ways to apply those learnings to improve laboratory performance in every area.
Commission on Cancer
The Commission on Cancer (CoC) recognizes cancer care programs that voluntarily hold their programs accountable to meeting the CoC standards as outlined in the Cancer Program Standards: Ensuring Patient-Centered Care manual. CoC-accredited cancer programs have access to reporting tools to aid in benchmarking and improving patient outcomes. In addition, the CoC provides educational and training opportunities, resources and advocates on behalf of the cancer community.
National Accreditation Program for Breast CentersThe National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) is focused on breast health and dedicated to the improvement of quality care and outcomes of patients with diseases of the breast through evidence-based standards and patient and professional education. Programs accredited with the NAPBC voluntarily agree to meet the standards outlined in the NAPBC Standards Manual.
Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy
Patients with leukemia, lymphoma or other life-threatening disease or other blood disorders need the most effective care to improve and prolong their lives. FACT accreditation is the threshold for excellence in cellular therapy including bone marrow or cord blood transplant (BMT). FACT-accredited organizations voluntarily seek and maintain FACT accreditation through a rigorous process, demonstrating their belief that patient needs are paramount.
Joint Commission
An independent, not-for-profit organization, the Joint Commission accredits and certifies nearly 21,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States. Joint Commission accreditation and certification is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to meeting certain performance standards.
Quality Oncology Practice Initiative Certification
The QOPI Certification Program provides a three-year certification recognizing high quality care for outpatient hematology-oncology practices within the U.S. and in certain other countries. Practices receive QOPI Certification based on their full compliance with the QOPI Certification Standards as assessed during an on-site survey.
URAC Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation
