Dr. Muhammad Ubaidulhaq is a board-certified, fellowship-trained pain management specialist, who treats a broad spectrum of patients from intervention to complete care.

His patients may have acute and chronic pain, conditions with the spine and complex pain syndrome.

Dr. Ubaidulhaq knew he wanted to be a doctor from an early age. Hospitalized after an accident at 9 years old, he was impacted by the interaction he had with his doctors and nurses. Dr. Ubaidulhaq is board-certified in pain management and neurology.

Dr. Ubaidulhaq enjoys the hands on approach to pain management, working with patients and helping them see results. He treats his patients how he would treat his family. "In my decision making, I explain options to help patients decide," he said. "I ask myself, 'Is this something I would offer my family, too?'"

He said his goal is to help patients make informed decisions about their care. "I hope patients feel that we develop a relationship starting on their first visit," he said. "My role is to present them a menu of options and be there to help them decide."

Dr. Ubaidulhaq earned his medical degree in Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. He completed his residency at Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit and a fellowship in pain management at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. They like to travel, do outdoor activities and watch movies.
