Dr. Rajender Polireddy, a board-certified internal medicine physician, prefers an emphasis on patient education and preventive care before health problems occur. His father instilled in him a strong appreciation for education of all kinds.

“I stress education because it can control problems associated with a given condition and limit complications,” he said.

Dr. Polireddy works with his patients to manage and avoid health issues like heart failure, heart arrhythmias, hypertension, diabetes, chronic kidney disease and liver failure.

Before joining Marshfield Clinic Health System, Dr. Polireddy’s career involved time as a provider of medical care to workers on offshore oil facilities and as a medical research scientist.

He earned his medical degree at Kakatiya Medical College in India. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Polireddy is an avid fan of TV sports. He also likes to be active himself and enjoys going to the gym, swimming, biking and running.

Since moving to Wisconsin, he has picked up winter activities of cross-country skiing, downhill skiing and ice skating.
