Roger Lovelace is a physician assistant specializing in radiology. He works to help patients reduce pain and fluid overload.
After more than 15 years in neurosurgery, Lovelace took the opportunity to bring his medical career full circle.
“I started as an X-ray technician," Lovelace said. “It's great to be back in radiology."
His passion for pain management drew him back to this department.
“I always hope to alleviate pain in patients," Lovelace said. “Radiology procedures are a great way to do that."
Lovelace enjoys working for Marshfield Clinic Health System because of the dedication to rural health care.
“We are able to provide high-quality care with a small-town feel," Lovelace said.
Lovelace earned his Doctor of Health Science degree from A.T. Still University College of Graduate Health Studies in Kirksville, Missouri. He earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree at University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine in Omaha and his bachelor's degree from University of Wisconsin in Madison.
In his spare time, Lovelace enjoys bowling, golfing, hunting and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
