As a board-certified family medicine
physician, Dr. Tanya Kausch Hoerneman
is most passionate about providing care
for entire families.
“I enjoy the opportunity to know the
different generations of families, from
great-grandparents down to their
grandchildren, and being a part of their
medical care,” she said.
Dr. Kausch Hoerneman decided to pursue
Family Medicine because she enjoyed the
variety of patients she saw while in training,
and she like the doctors she worked with
in her training.
“I liked taking care of people of different
ages then, just as I do now,” she said.
“I believe it is important to listen to my
patients and address their concerns as
best as possible.”
Dr. Kausch Hoerneman grew up in
Madison, while her husband grew up in
Chili. She is most proud of being a
mom and a physician, both of which
keep her busy.
