Weijia Wang, M.D., is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in cardiac electrophysiology. He works to help patients with heart rhythm disorders such as atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia and ventricular tachycardia. He also takes care of patients who need pacemakers or defibrillators.

Dr. Wang also offers several complex and new services. He performs pulsed-field ablation (PFA) to treat atrial fibrillation, collaborates with Radiation Oncology to provide cutting edge Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) to treat refractory ventricular tachycardia, implants cardiac contractility modulation (CCM) device to treat heart failure and in collaboration with Sleep Medicine, he also implants phrenic nerve stimulator (Remedē) to treat central sleep apnea.

Dr. Wang has a patient-centered focus in his practice and enjoys using his skills to help others. He offers options to patients based on science and patients' preference to find a care plan that works for them.

“I enjoy listening to the patients and understanding the need of each patient," Dr. Wang said. “With that, I will offer my knowledge and/or procedural skills to address their need to help them feel better and live longer."

Dr. Wang entered medicine because he wanted to help others. Every patient he helps is significant to him. “When I work with a patient and they feel better, that is the most rewarding part," he said. “I want to provide options that will guide them through to feeling better."

In his spare time, Dr. Wang enjoys hiking, skating, sailing and playing basketball.
