Wesley Fox, M.D., went into medicine because he was determined to help prevent illness.
“Medicine is the best place to put science into action and directly help people," he said.
As a family medicine physician, Dr. Fox cares for patients of all ages, seeing a wide range of health conditions. He appreciates the relationships he can develop with you over your lifetime.
“I can care for everything from A to Z - Arthritis to Zits (acne)," Dr. Fox said. “That's the benefit of Family Medicine. We take care of the whole patient."
Growing up in Pittsville, Dr. Fox is glad to return to Marshfield Clinic Health System. As a provider in the community, he said listening to the patient is the most important.
“The patient's story will tell us everything we need to know," he said. “My role is to listen, follow and make recommendations, but the patient leads."
Outside of work, Dr. Fox enjoys fishing, hunting, hiking and camping. He and his wife, Brooke, are busy enjoying time with their son.
