Frequently asked questions

Is plastic surgery safe?

All surgery has risks. We reduce risk through accredited facilities, careful screening, and clear pre/postop guidance.

How long is recovery?

Depends on the procedure—from a few days (minor) to several weeks (major). We’ll tailor your plan to work and family schedules.

Will insurance cover my procedure

Insurers generally cover medically necessary reconstructive procedures (e.g., post-cancer breast reconstruction or functional eyelid surgery) and typically do not cover cosmetic-only procedures. We’ll provide estimates and help you understand coverage and payment options. (General policy orientation; specific coverage varies by plan.)

Can I see results before I decide?

Yes—during consultation we review outcomes, expected scarring, and timelines to help set realistic expectations.

What’s the difference between cosmetic and reconstructive surgery?

Cosmetic surgery focuses on enhancing appearance; reconstructive surgery restores function and form after trauma, cancer, or congenital conditions.

Am I a candidate for breast augmentation, lift, or reduction?

Candidacy depends on your anatomy, goals, skin quality, and medical history. Augmentation increases volume (implant or fat transfer), while a lift repositions and firms, and a reduction removes excess tissue to relieve symptoms and improve proportion. We’ll recommend the option that matches your needs.

How long do injectables and IPL results last?

Most Botox/Dysport results last 3–4 months; fillers vary by product and area. IPL typically requires a series of sessions; results and suitability depend on skin type and concern. Your provider will personalize the plan.

How do Botox and fillers differ?

Botox/Dysport relax overactive muscles to soften dynamic lines; fillers add volume to static lines and features (lips, cheeks, chin). Many patients benefit from a combination plan.
