Growing up in Colby, Amanda Seubert, D.N.P., is a Wisconsin native. Prior to working in the urology department, Seubert worked as a registered nurse at Marshfield Clinic Health System.

She pursued her Doctor of Nurse Practice degree at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. During a clinical rotation in graduate school, she worked with the Marshfield Clinic Health System urology department and felt that it was a great team with an amazing patient population. Therefore, she decided to launch her urology career as a nurse practitioner.

Seubert has experience in a variety of units with several patient populations. She also has experience working with the geriatric population at local nursing homes. In her practice, she enjoys the relationship she develops with her patients.

“I hope my patients say I am approachable, I listen, and that I am thorough," Seubert said. “I try to communicate in a way that everyone can understand and be comfortable with."

In particular, she enjoys “establishing a plan of care that involves patients in the decision-making process."

“I enjoy working with both genders, but helping women is of particular interest to me," she said. “Women, especially women dealing with postpartum, often feel as though their urological concerns are overlooked. By involving them in their plan of care, I like to ensure all of their urological needs are met and questions are answered."

Seubert is married and has three kids. In her spare time, she enjoys staying active with her kids, exploring Wisconsin state parks, running and reading.
