As a board-certified family medicine physician, Dr. Antoinette Hayek provides preventive care, manages chronic conditions and treats minor illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages.
“Family medicine is a specialty that involves taking care of patients with a wide variety of problems," Dr. Hayek said. “In my field, we have to be able to understand and treat many types of diseases. We also coordinate overall care when other specialists are involved."
Dr. Hayek emphasizes emotional well-being as part of overall wellness.
“I want to help my patients feel better in all ways," she said.
Dr. Hayek went to medical school at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. She completed a residency in family medicine at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.
Dr. Hayek enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She likes skiing, exercise, running, hiking, travel, movies and attending the theater.
