Cory Springstroh, O.D., is an optometrist who helps restore his patients' vision by providing eye exams and prescribing corrective glasses and contact lenses. While Dr. Springstroh specializes in fitting contact lenses, he also assesses and treats eye injuries, removes foreign bodies in the eye, and treats and manages various eye diseases like glaucoma and macular degeneration.
“Fitting patients with contact lenses is a very rewarding part of my practice," Dr. Springstroh said. “I'm committed to the long-term care and health of my patients' eyes."
Dr. Springstroh became interested in optometry at a young age after becoming nearsighted and witnessing firsthand the impact it could have on people. While caring for patients of all ages, Dr. Springstroh is exceptional with children as his patience, kindness and sense of humor resonate well with his younger patients.
“I am very passionate about Myopia Control, which involves using specialty contacts and drops to slow nearsightedness progression in children and teens," said Dr. Springstroh, who also treats pediatric strabismus (eye turns).
Dr. Springstroh earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin and studied optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, where he graduated with his Doctor of Optometry. He has been a member of the American Optometric Association for the past 15 years.
