Dylan Loertscher, DPT

Dylan Loertscher is a physical therapist, treating patients suffering from stiffness, pain or injuries in any area of the body.

His path to becoming a physical therapist began when he was just a teen and was a patient at the Health System after suffering a sports-related injury.

Patients see Dylan if they have pain and limitations that affect their daily life, ranging from head to toe. He also specializes in helping patients with temporomandibular joint, or TMJ, issues. Patients with TMJ issues can suffer from jaw pain, difficulty chewing, and clicking or locking of the jaw joint. Dylan treats his patients with a holistic approach, teaching them methods to prevent future injuries or pain.

“I enjoy helping people learn more about their bodies as well as how to best improve symptoms for the future," he said.

Listening and providing useful strategies to patients are central to treating a patient in physical therapy, Dylan says.  He is passionate about tailoring each program to each individual patient's needs, rather than a cookie-cutter approach.

“Some patients have ailments that have bothered them for a long time and to see a patient have improvement from something I helped with is very fulfilling," he said.

Dylan received his doctorate of physical therapy degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

In his spare time, he likes to hunt, fish and snowmobile. He enjoys spending time with his wife and extended family, most of whom reside in Central Wisconsin.
