Jason Cruff, DO, FACOG

A specialist in urogynecology

Dr. Jason Cruff, a urogynecologist, specializes in women's health issues, including pelvic floor disorders, bladder pain, sexual dysfunction, menopause and more.

Listening to his patients and their concerns is key to understanding a diagnosis, Dr. Jason Cruff said about urogynecology.

In terms of patient care, Cruff opts for a holistic approach. "I look at the patient as a whole. It's not just a disease or disorder," he said. Cruff is taking into consideration the patient's lifestyle, personal needs and other health conditions to help diagnose and treat.

He believes urogynecology is a patient-centered field of medicine. The patient truly has control over her own diagnosis and treatment.

"There are usually many different treatment options the patient can choose from. It's my job to be her teacher and leader and to help come to a reasonable treatment approach we can both agree on," Cruff said.

One of the most rewarding parts of his practice is seeing the transformative changes that happen after a surgery.

"I'm trained in pelvic surgery, vaginal surgery, other minimally-invasive surgeries…" he said. "Just seeing the changes that surgery brings, both anatomically and subjectively, is really important to me."

Cruff received his medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at WellSpan York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania.
