Dr. Marilyn Pontone, a podiatrist, focuses on foot and ankle issues, including Achilles tendonitis, heel pain, bunions, corns and calluses and diabetic foot conditions.
Dr. Pontone joined the Marshfield
Clinic’s medical staff in 2006. She prescribes medications and
orthotic devices and may perform inpatient
or outpatient surgical procedures to treat
foot conditions.
In her practice Dr. Pontone also focuses on
education and works with her patients on
preventative maintenance.
Born in Red Bank, New Jersey, Dr. Pontone received her undergraduate degree from
Smith College in Northampton Massachusetts. She also had training
at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. She then completed a Residency in podiatric
surgery at Maryland Podiatry Residency Program in Baltimore. She is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is licensed to practice in Wisconsin.
