Michelle Hulman is a pain management nurse practitioner who helps patients with chronic pain from ongoing conditions.

Conditions she treats includes spine concerns, joints issues, fibromyalgia, complex region pain syndrome and early pain management for oncology patients.

She joins the pain management team with a goal to help people, drawing on her previous experience as a board-certified oncology nurse.

Chronic pain is complex, and often patients feel like there is nothing they can do because previous treatments didn't work. Michelle will work with patients to assess their needs and goals then explore options together. “Most people think only about medication when it comes to pain control," she said. “However, there are additional modalities people don't realize they can use that can make a difference."

Michelle's goal is to be caring and listen to patient needs. “We'll make a great plan together to help everyday quality of life to allow patients to do the things important to them," she said.

Providing holistic approach and options for the patients to decide their care is important to Michelle. “I am here to serve the community and be a resource to provide exceptional care and quality of life," she said.

Michelle earned her doctor of nursing practice-family nurse practitioner degree from University of Oshkosh.

While not at work, Michelle enjoys being outdoors camping, hiking and gardening. She enjoys spending time on the lake swimming, kayaking and fishing.
