Nurse Practitioner Stephanie Mundt has been interested in medicine since middle school. While getting her master's in nursing, she did a rotation in Occupational Medicine and knew she needed to pursue that specialty.
As an occupational medicine nurse practitioner, Stephanie cares for patients who may have injured themselves at work. She also does pre-employment physicals, and Department of Transportation and Fit for Duty examinations. Additionally, Stephanie can provide treatment options, return-to-work evaluations and refer to any specialties throughout Marshfield Clinic Health System.
“I am passionate about keeping people at work and getting them back to work after an injury," she said.
She often see patients with sprains and strains from industrial or manufacturing roles. Stephanie listens to her patients to provide specialized care to fit their needs.
Stephanie earned her Bachelor in Science with emphasis in pre-medicine in Texas. Then, came to Wisconsin to be closer to family and receive her bachelor's in nursing from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Concordia University in Mequon.
Outside of work, Stephanie loves being on the lake in the summer and spending time with her family and dogs. She also loves watching her son in all his sporting events. Her family enjoys watching NFL games.
