Dr. Thomas Doering holds dual roles of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) physician and Service Line Medical Director of OB-GYN/Women’s Health.
In each position, his focus is delivering superior patient care. His OB/GYN practice concentrates on a mix of infertility, obstetrics and surgical management of cases ranging from abnormal bleeding to
incontinence. He believes collaboration with patients is crucial.
“I advise my patients, and together we make decisions,” he said. “I want them to know they’re a big part of the process.”
His true passion is obstetrical care. “I like the science of it, the challenge of treating high-risk patients and working in partnership with my patients,” he said.
Dr. Doering has been married for more than a decade and has three sons and a daughter. In his spare time, he likes to bike, hunt and golf. He says golf is a great way to relax and spend an afternoon with friends.
He earned his medical degree from Des Moines University - College of Osteopathicv Medicine & Health Sciences. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Akron – Akron General Hospital. Dr. Doering is board certified
in obstetrics and gynecology.
