Preconception and planning tips

  • Quit smoking and avoid alcohol
  • Take folic acid at least two months before conception
  • Ensure immunizations are up to date

Prenatal care

  • Early care matters: The first 12 weeks are critical for your baby’s development
  • Visit schedule: Every four to six weeks until 28–30 weeks, then more frequent
