Types of radiation therapy we offer
External beam radiation therapy
External beam radiation is delivered from a machine that targets cancer from outside the body. We offer advanced techniques such as:
- Varian TrueBeam® external beam therapy
- Intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT)
- Image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT)
- Surfaced guided radiation therapy (SGRT)
Stereotactic radiation treatments
Used to deliver very precise, high-dose radiation in fewer sessions:
- Stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT)
- Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS)
- Gamma Knife® radiosurgery (for brain conditions)
Brachytherapy (internal radiation)
Places radioactive sources directly into or near a tumor to treat cancers from the inside.
